Spot UV cards are printed on a sturdy 16pt C2S card stock and then each side of each card is treated with 1.0 mil OPP matte lamination. After the lamination process, you can highlight areas of your cards with a spot UV treatment. All of our spot uv business cards are printed in full colour, full bleeds on both sides. Silk laminated cards are our most popular cards.
TIPS: These silky smooth cards are writable with most pens except for the spot UV areas. Spot UV tends to shift from card to card and we don't recommend using this treatment on thin fonts or any text. It's best uses are to highlight logo's, images or solid shapes and blocks. One of the best and most effective uses of the spot UV treatment is on a solid background with as shown in our product photo. When setting up your files, you need to provide a black mask file just for the spot UV area in the exact position of your card design.
